Which is a square version of a flag representing Carmarthenshire. It shows the golden lion of of Rhys ap Tewdwr Mawr, the King of Deheubarth (c. 1040 – 1093). This was used as the banner of the House of Dinefwr and the Kingdom of Deheubarth, which at time covered much of southwest Wales.
